Marine Engineering | Technical Services:
Boats continue to get more and more complex. Outdated systems affect your boat's value & salability as well as becoming unreliable with age. We have experience with all systems, mechanical & electrical. We can assist with upgrades and repairs, for example, 48V lithium battery conversions that can facilitate running AC overnight without a generator running. There are many other creature comfort upgrades to consider. We offer consulting on all topics, and within a reasonable distance of the Williamsburg area of VA, hands on project management.

….Captain Steve’s skills were tested on the very first day of our trip as the “drive by wire” helm controls malfunctioned, putting the entire journey in jeopardy.  While most Captains might have thrown in the towel - He instead dove into the boats control systems and traced the problem to a loose ribbon connector on one of the electronic boards inside the helm unit. This was corrected and the system performed flawlessly for the entire trip.
